Anelda Mail
Anelda is a Leadership Coach and Communications Consultant with over 30 years' experience in developing people and brands.
In her early career she was a successful entrepreneur working in the retail food, fashion and beauty industries in South Africa and Namibia.
Her passion for people saw her career change direction from entrepreneurship to Coaching, Corporate Communications and Organisational Change.
Over the last 20 years she has held executive positions in organisations such as The Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation, and the South African Institute of Race Relations. During this time, she was a sought-after speaker offering insight into the economic and political state-of-play in South Africa. She regularly participated in radio and television news casts and talk shows for both national and international news agencies such as ENCAfrica, Al Jazeera and the BBC.
Her corporate clients have included Anglo American, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Investec Bank, and the South African Business Forum. In the Not-for-Profit sector she has acted as a fundraiser and executive for internationally funded feeding schemes and educational programmes.
Anelda has a degree in Theology and is a trained Pastoral Counsellor. She is certified as a Business Mentor, and holds certifications in various styles and methodologies of Coaching Conversations.
Her passion for coaching spills over into her personal life too. Anelda has volunteered extensively. Some of the roles she held were as a breastfeeding coach with the La Leche League, a palliative counsellor for a Children’s AIDS Hospice, a trauma counsellor for a women’s outreach programme, and as a school counsellor for high school learners. She has sat on the Board of various School Governing Bodies.
In 2020 Anelda won the Victoria University of Wellington’s Global Enterprise Experience Champion Leadership Coach award, recognising her skills in coaching young leaders.
She now resides with her family in Wellington New Zealand, and is a consultant coach for Te Kaihau.
